You are cordially invited to participate in IASSIST's first North American Action Group Conference.

DATES - Wednesday evening, Feb. 16, 1977 to Sunday morning, Feb. 20, 1977.

REGISTRATION FEE - $25.00 (make a check payable to IASSIST and send to the National Secretariate).

          (Use attached reservation form and indicate the reservation is for the IASSIST Conference).

CONFERENCE PROGRAM

Wednesday evening will be the time for informal meetings and reunions. Canadian and U.S. Secretaries and Action Group Coordinators will meet for dinner. Thursday morning will be a plenary session and Thursday afternoon, all day Friday and all day Saturday will be for work. Everyone who attends the conference will be expected to participate in the working sessions of one of the Action Groups. On Sunday morning there will be a final session at which Action Group Coordinators will report on what they've accomplished and what they envision for the future. This should be an exciting and productive conference for anyone interested in data information services. We look forward to your participation.

Note: The Action Groups were: Data registry, Data archive development, Data acquisition, Data organization and management, Classification, Documentation, and Process-produced data.
