Summary: The Adult Corrections Survey (ACS) collects aggregate caseload and case characteristic data for custodial and non-custodial correctional services at both the federal and provincial levels. As well, the survey gathers information on resources, expenditures and personnel. Descriptive data on organizational structure and service delivery are also collected. The ACS became operational in 1979-80 and collects data from all jurisdictions.
