Official results of the 40th general election, held on October 14, 2008.
All summary data related to the 40th general election are contained in 13 summary tables as well as files by federal electoral district (FED).
A set of "pollbypoll" files presents the same data as in the official poll-by-poll report and includes an entry for each polling station by candidate in each electoral district. It also provides information on overall vote counts for the poll.
A set of "pollresults" files provides an entry for each candidate by polling station in each electoral district. It includes information on who the candidate is, the candidate's political party, and the voting results for that candidate at a particular poll.
